Handwoven ~ 60 – 85 years ago by Amazigh (Berber) artisans in the Zemmour region of the Middle Atlas.
This flatwoven Hanbel features traditional protective diamond motifs arranged in horizontal bands, symbolizing harmony and resilience. Woven from hand-spun wool with natural, plant-based dyes, the rug’s warm olive and cream palette has aged beautifully. Lightweight and versatile - suitable for floor use, layering, accent throw, or wall hanging as
textile art.
